Last week, you may have noticed that I didn't show up in your inbox, and that's because - to be honest with you - I had one of those crazy busy weeks, where some things just had to take a back seat.
More than once I found myself feeling quite overwhelmed and stressed! My mind was racing with a never-ending to-do list and fear of letting others down.
You see our minds react with stress when they believe there is something that could threaten us in the next 30 seconds, however more often than not this threat is simply fear of what other's think or an overwhelming sense of pressure.
The truth is you and I are safe, even though stress and anxiety can make it feel otherwise.
So the best thing we can do is remind ourselves of our safety with my favourite go-to affirmation for stress-relief.
"I allow my mind to relax and be at peace. Clarity and harmony are within me and all around me. All is well."
