The Adelaide Equestrian Festival, proudly takes its place alongside the other great international five star events, the Kentucky 3 Day Event in the United States, Burghley Horse Trials and Badminton Horse Trials in England, Luhmuhlen in Germany and Pau in France. The Adelaide event is unique in the world, being the only one staged in the heart
of a vibrant city centre, taking place in the picturesque Adelaide Parklands.

An exciting new chapter for the Adelaide Equestrian Festival is taking shape. ✨🐎

After close to a decade of planning, the long-held vision for a new water complex within Victoria Park is moving closer to becoming a reality.

First championed by former Event Director and Olympic Gold Medallist Gillian Rolton AM, the Victoria Park Water Jump is an incredibly special legacy project for our Festival and for the sport of eventing in Australia.

Designed to work with the existing landscape, the new complex will create another world-class feature for our Cross Country course, while presenting as part of the grassed Park Lands for the majority of the year.

To be bringing Gill’s vision closer to life almost ten years on is incredibly special - and an exciting investment in the future of our Festival. 💚💛

One of the things that makes the Adelaide Equestrian Festival so unique is its setting. Where else can you watch world-class horses and riders tackle a cross-country course in the heart of a capital city? 🏙️

Winding through Adelaide's beautiful Park Lands, the course provides a spectacular backdrop for competitors and spectators alike, bringing elite equestrian sport right to the doorstep of the city.

It's a view that never gets old.

🏆 The final day of competition brings it all down to this - precision, power, and pressure in the Gillian Rolton Main Arena.

Show Jumping Day is where champions are decided, with riders and horses giving everything in the fight for the top of the leaderboard. Every rail, every second, every round counts.

One of our favourite things about Cross Country Day is seeing the incredible support behind our riders. 💛

From homemade signs and team colours to cheering squads spread around the course, the atmosphere wouldn't be the same without our passionate spectators.

And if there was an award for easiest supporters to spot, the fans of Jess from Wildfire Equestrian would have to be right up there! 🔥

As one of only six CCI5* events in the world, we're proud to welcome one of Australia's most respected figures in eventing to help shape the future of our iconic urban cross-country course.
