🥊 A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO WEST CENTRAL’S VERY OWN CALLUM PETERS 🥊

What a moment for Cassie Bradley Peters and everyone who has been part of his journey.

On Wednesday, Callum fought on the Nikita Tszyu vs Ben Mahoney card stepping in against a tough Victorian opponent with the IBF Pan Pacific Title on the line.

In typical Callum fashion, he put the pressure on from the opening bell, constantly moving forward and breaking his opponent down before eventually getting the stoppage in Round 8. 👊🏼

The victory sees Callum move to #15 in the world in his division, an incredible achievement and another massive step forward in his career.

A huge congratulations to Coach Buddha, and a special thank you to Buddha and his wife Cassie, as well as Callum’s entire family, for allowing West Central to be part of this journey and making us feel part of the family along the way.

We couldn’t be prouder of you, Callum.

And the exciting part is, we know this is only the beginning.

FEB MEMBERS OF THE MONTH 🔥
For last month we couldn’t pick just one, so we didn’t— Well done Ana + Carla for showing up day in and day out.

The girls haven’t missed a single session for the entire month of February during our 8 Week Fight Ready Challenge. Every session. Every out-of-gym activity. No excuses!

But it’s more than just attendance, it’s the energy they bring energy, they always have a smile on their faces, supporting others + pushing themselves!

GENNARO COLANGELO 🏆 Fought for the WBC Australasia Title over a competitive 8 x 3 minute bout, and what a performance!
colangelo displayed beautiful technical boxing from the opening bell. Too elusive. Too slick. Too composed for a very tough and competitive opponent in Andrew Wi******er.

He kept his foot on the accelerator for all eight rounds, controlling the pace, staying sharp, and in the final round closed the show with a barrage of punches to secure the stoppage.

We are incredibly proud and honoured to have Gennaro represent West Central on the national stage.

This is only the beginning!! On to the next 🥊🔥

Recognised Saturday night at the Boxing SA Tournament.

An incredible achievement and a true reflection of the work they put in day in, day out.

We also had Thomas and Will step into the ring for their first fights representing West Central. Both came up short on the night — but showed heart, composure and courage beyond their experience.

That’s what this sport is about. Stepping up. Learning. Growing.

Kicking off with a bang, Eliza has been training twice a day since joining the WEST team. rain, hail or 40 degree heat she shows up 🥊

Came in with a pre-exisiting injury and has been able to work around it + put in the work, fitness levels improving by a mile and boxing technique just keeps getting better.
