Holdfast Heat Church Basketball Club Our Beliefs: We believe that Jesus wants to grow members of the community to be able to find purpose in their lives.

"Our heat begins with an ember, spark and fire, it then is reburn"

Our club seeds, sows and plants new communities through the sport of basketball for local churches in our area to help connect the community together and provide opportunities for all Who We Are: We are a Christian run Basketball Club that plays mainly in the SA Church Basketball Association (SACBA) Saturday afternoon Competition

representing churches not able to run basketball activities in the South West corner of Adelaide including friends and supporters of members of these churches. Our Mission: To provide a sports ministry outlet for our Churches/Christian schools to participate in to form community with members of our local communities and our network. Our approach is based around the Australian National Baptist Carnival where we build relationships within our community and provide support and life wisdom through the scriptures through Team Times, this is tailored to the community. Our junior players begin as Embers (Boys) and Sparklers (Girls) as they are a flame that needs nurturing and protecting in their walk of life journey and will eventually grow into Heat (Men) and Sparks (Women) that can influence positively those around them in their local community. We carefully select our leadership around those who are attending our local churches and their faith in Jesus is connected with their daily lives. We also believe having different leadership from different churches helps connect the community as a whole and bring us all together as all parts of the one body (1 Corinthians 12:12).

Holdfast Embers are looking for more players to join our teams for the upcoming SA Church Basketball Association Inc Community Season starting May 2 🏀🔥

*5-9 year olds to join our supporting SA Church Stars Basketball Club Stars of the Future Program or U10 team
*U12 & U16 Girls Teams supported by the Stars for future growth
*U14 Boys
