2025/2026 KSA State Wave Titles held today in great conditions off Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club beach. It's been a big year with the algae bloom affecting our event and it was great to be able to run it again. Sun was out, swell was pumping, the wind was howling and the humpback whale got the memo to stay away from the comp zone 😅Thanks to everyone who came down and participated!

KSA Wave Titles

Tomorrow is the day!

Goolwa surf club 9am briefing

Crew its time to get geared up and ready for the KSA STATE WAVE TITLES!

Thanks to Kiteboarding Australia in partnership with the Alexandrina Council, the KSA State Wave titles is a part of the National Wave Series at Goolwa Beach Surf Club. Everyone is encouraged to participate, and this event has a division to suit all riding abilities. So if you're comfortable riding in surf conditions, get involved, have a crack and most of all have fun. ITS ALL ABOUT THE STOKE!!!

A massive thanks must go to all the amazing sponsors who have got behind the event again this year. Everyone will walk away with a sweet prize!

Thanks also to the support of Goolwa Beach Surf Club including volunteer lifesavers and a rescue boat for your safety. KSA will be providing a donation to the surf club in thanks for their support.

This location offers both on and off beach parking, cafe, bathrooms, grass areas and other facilities to make it a great day for competitor’s families and friends. The Surf Club's bar will also be open all day

Presentations will be held at Goolwa Beach Surf Club at the conclusion of the event.

State Wave Titles update!

Hola! Swell is up, wind will be howling but unfortunately we are having to postpone the event once again 🤯. This is due to not being able to have a rescue craft available. We work closely with the local surf clubs but unfortunately this weekend there is no IRB or ski available. We value our competitors safety as priority. We hope everyone understands the dilemma and look forward to holding the event in the future!!

Hope everyone gets out in the next couple days for a shred!!

Looks like we have a pretty solid forecast to run this year's State Wave Titles down south at Goolwa with a potential to run from rose st at Middleton. We have moved the comp up to standby and await for an announcement tomorrow. 20kts SW wind with a solid swell should make it for a fun morning.

🌊 Event Update – State Wave Kiteboarding Titles 🌬️
Unfortunately, we’re currently experiencing delays due to poor wind conditions. While it’s not what we were hoping for, the call is all about delivering the best and safest event possible.
Rest assured, we’re fully committed to running the competition as soon as conditions allow. We’ll continue to monitor the forecast closely and keep everyone updated with the latest information.

🌊🪁 South Australian State Wave Kiteboarding Comp Update 🪁🌊

Happy new years SA kiteboarding crew! We hope everyone has had a great break over Xmas and has had the chance to get out and get on the water!!

The State Wave Comp is still going ahead at Goolwa. We are still patiently waiting for the right wind conditions. Yes it's windy this weekend but unfortunately it's not the correct direction 👎

As soon as conditions line up, we’ll lock in the call and get some quality wave riding underway.

Following the government regulations with the algae bloom it is deemed safe per the app so we have decided to go ahead and hold the comp
