The old dirt kart is back on track for Albys first dirt event in 3 years. We even dusted of the old side pods they’re almost retro 😂
Starting from the rear and back on probation we had a fun and enjoyable day to finish in 4th overall.
It was great to see many friendly faces welcome us back.
On to the next one 👍

⭐️⭐️Remaining results for Mildura⭐️⭐️

Heat 3- 5th once again making some moves after being passed early on.

Final- 4th awesome pace again and chased down to pass for 4th had to settle with that the top 3 had broken away.

For everyone asking Alby was fine after his crash in practice the pit crew copped a stern look and silent treatment for abit. 😠Probably deserved! Whoops😬

We had a great trip. Learning a new track was a lot of fun and it was a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

⭐️👏Huge thank you to Mildura Go-Kart Club and the other competitors for an amazing event. Well run with limited volunteers but they did there best and made it work. We will definitely be back.

The team are off to Mt Gambier next weekend so stay posted for that.

⭐️Albys first race win on bitumen⭐️
AWB Racing has been relatively quiet recently, but for a good reason. With a new look and renewed focus, Alby has been tirelessly practicing on bitumen since transitioning from dirt racing.
Alby has been working hard to adapt his driving style to the demands of bitumen.

Today marked Alby’s first non-probation race at the Barossa Kart Club and first race in the new Ka3 setup.
Albs demonstrated impressive speed and smart driving during the heats, setting himself up for a strong race final.
Heat 1= 2nd heat 2= 1st🥇 Heat 3=2nd heat 4=DNF heat 5= 2nd.
Giving him a podium position overall.
The day was a great success in gaining experience both for Alby and Dad with kart setup.
