Week 1 of X League Season 3 is underway!

Innisbrook’s back 9 was no easy start to the season. With water lurking around every turn and thin fairways all the way down, accuracy and planning were key to success.

With all teams now having a season under their belts, everyone knew what they were up against, but some handled the challenge better than others.

3 Pye’s & I got off to a phenomenal start, winning their matchup against Driving Straight 3-0, with every player either matching or beating their own handicap. Paul G. from Driving Straight did manage to sn**ch the NTP honours, finishing just 7.6m from the pin.

The Season 2 Grand Finalists, Superior Logistics Australia SLA Golfers and Red Tins GC, battled it out in the other matchup, with the champs, SLA Golfers, bested 2-1. It was a close contest, with just one stroke that tipped the scales in Red Tins GC’s favour. Josh D. from SLA Golfers managed to at least take out the Longest Drive for his team, sending one 259.9m down the fairway.

That’s Week 1 done, but there’s plenty more golf to come. Think your team has what it takes to join the X League? Get a few mates together and see what you can do. Season 3 is only just getting started.
