What a weekend. The Old Dogs in Hobart is a must do for 50+ players. Great venue, good food and the tables played brilliantly, thanks Stacey Vine for reclothing them prior.
He was so happy with his workmanship he won the event again. 3 Times Champion. Love the event and Lyndall Vine will gladly help him spend the winnings 😄
Great last night with the Clack’s, Vines and Lucky
Had Japanese at Bar Wa Izikaya. Beautiful selection thanks to the Clack”s and Paul insisted on paying. Greatly appreciated.
Full marks to the Hobart Working Man’s Club. Staff did a sterling jod and Tony Cannan, Michael (Grubby) Grubb for shouting numerous rounds prior to us going for dinner. Special thanks to Saly for the coverages that was watched around the country and OS.

Still waiting for an InterState team to take out the Australian Eightball Classic
SA TEAMS have foiled all efforts including sending the 2016 World Champions home twice in 2017 & 2018 without a result.
OK so the inaugural Champions were a
Compilation side that had a couple of Victorians (JR & Jimmy Rene) but not a complete interstate team.

Lots of talked about the supposed ousting of the AEBF Executive. I admit I want present at the completion of the AGM due to the fact it had been shuffled a couple of times for no understandable reason from the scheduled date of Nov 11. I had arranged to meet with my granddaughter and her family in the day so left before noon prior to the blow up.
The crux of the issue was the current executive had nominated someone and the interstate officials had nominated a second candidate. When the IO’s nominee won the appointment the total executive driven by the president resigned in mass.
Hopefully the audio of the entire meeting doesn’t go missing again.

The old dogs still barking. Got up against Crippsy 6-3 in a very scrappy match. We were both feeling it but I ended up with the best chances. A nice finish in yhe 9th after Shane just missed a double on the black.

It’s been a tough initiation for this very young inexperienced team but they showed what they’re capable of today.
Close lossless to TAS, Draw against NZ North and a good win over NT.
Too late to make the finals but gained some respect. ✅🎱✅
