Skiing4all, run by a British psychologist, is the only organisation based in a mountain resort, which caters exclusively for persons with learning difficulties, their families and friends. We invite everyone, regardless of the type of their special educational needs, to join one of our skiing or other outdoor activity programs, running both in summer and winter. As the snow begins to melt, it’s time for us to pack away our skis for a little while...🎿 We want to say a huge 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to everyone who joined us at Skiing4all this season! Your great enthusiasm, incredible progress and infectious smiles made every day truly special!

🌸 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄:
Our office is now 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞. We are heading off to recharge our batteries and we will be back in full force on 16th May!

Last week was a true testament to why a slow, gentle approach makes all the difference. We welcomed Marea, a lovely teenage girl with high sensory sensitivities. It took time but by introducing her gear one by one—ski trousers, boots, jacket and helmet—she did it! Keeping her headphones and mobile as her "comfort blankets" gave her the security she needed to take on this new challenge. We are so proud of her success! 😎👏👏👏🥇

Welcoming back our young guests has been amazing - they didn’t forget a thing and won 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧! 🥇👏🥇 At the bottom, we've had another thrill: 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟗 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐳𝐞𝐧! ❄️😯❄️ From mountain peaks to exploring the official lake paths and ice rinks, we’ve had an incredible time in our winter wonderland!

Since 2009, we have welcomed neurodivergent children and adults—including those with 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 and 𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐃—to the beautiful 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐙𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐞 for 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬.

As we move toward the brighter days of the season, we are officially opening the bookings for our 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬. Specifically designed for those with high sensory sensitivities, this program focuses on confidence and individual growth in a milder mountain environment.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰?

Spring offers a unique opportunity to find confidence in a 𝟏:𝟏 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐬. For many of our participants, the abundant sunshine and 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐢𝐫 allow for a different kind of mountain experience. The 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 often mean trading heavy winter gear for lighter, more flexible layers and swapping ski goggles for sunglasses—offering a sense of freedom and a 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬.

Because our 1:1 support is so intensive, our capacity is strictly limited. While most of our season is booked many months in advance, we have reserved a few final places for this new spring program.

"More fun than fun!!!" 🥳 That's how one of our young guests described our last few days together! 🤩 With the sun beaming ☀️ and the snow in peak condition ❄️, it was pure magic - both on and off the slopes ⛷️🦙🛷⛄️🏇. We can't wait to welcome everyone back soon!

With the snow at its best and the sky a perfect blue, last week saw breakthroughs at every level!!! 👏👏👏 Whether it was the young explorers finding their balance or our adults tackling new slopes, that “I did it” moment was exactly the same! 😎⛷️🏆 Even when the words aren’t there, the feeling is written all over their faces and is unmistakable in the sparkling eyes! 🤩
