The 2026 World Youth Championships will be hosted by the International Bowling Federation, the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress and the Amateur Bowling Association of Sarawak.
The Championship will run from 27th June to 7th July in the Megalanes Sarawak Bowling Centre which features 42 digital, high-tech lanes equipped with advanced scoring and analytics
Scotland Tenpin Bowling are now proud to announce the selection of the Women’s & Mens Teams.
Mens Team:
Thomas Carver, Zane Galbraith, Shayne Smith & Jacob Bircumshaw.
Womens Team:
Amy Addison & Orla Anderson
Unfortunately, we are unable to field a full women’s team for this event. However, the athletes selected are eager for the opportunity to represent Scotland at a world-class competition. Competing against some of the best athletes from around the globe will provide them with invaluable experience and contribute significantly to their development.
Coaches attending will be Calvin Murray & Chris Carver with Maureen Addison performing the Team Manager role.
We all look forward to watching their games and cheering our athletes on from home to give them the support they deserve throughout the event.
