SUMMER IS HERE AND IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR SEMESTER END:

The picnic on Sunday 21st June marks the official end to the semester. 

However, classes are running on Tuesday 23rd (commonroom) and Thursday 25th June (EDA studio) and are your last chance to make up missed classes this semester. Pupils are welcome to join any age appropriate session (even if a different style) on those 2 days:

Tuesday 23rd (commonroom):
3.30-4.15pm: Pre-Ballet/Pre-Primary (ages 4-7)
4.15-5.00pm: Ballet (ages 7+)
5.00-5.45pm: Contemporary dance (ages 8-14)

Thursday 25th (EDA studio):
3.30-4.10pm: Adventures in Ballet (with or without parents from age 2+)
4.15-5.00pm: Primary Ballet (ages 6+)
5.00-5.50pm: Commercial Dance (popstyle) (ages 8+) (can also be joined on zoom)

To the Dads and Father figures that lift us up!

Last Sunday was a busy day of rehearsals for our EDA summer picnic showcase but we did make sure to give each of our Papas bringing their children to rehearsals a little treat.

As we will be busy at the picnic itself on English Father‘s Day I decided to go in between and post today!

So to all the fathers and father figures out there THANK YOU for all you do for us and a special thought and hug always to those for who father‘s day might be tough. 🤍

The EDA Wien’s much loved musical theatre inspired camps with singing, dancing, acting, crafts, games, outdoor time, fun, friendship and more are back for Summer 2026 ...... Booking now!

Fee: €335 per week (inclusive USt.)

Happy Mother's Day to all our wonderful EDA Mamas and Mother figures. We would not be who we are without you.

Our upcoming show includes a Mama who supported her dreamer no matter what - thank you to all of you and especially my own Mum for always supporting us!

And sending love and strength to all Mothers - whatever that role means to you.

EDA EASTER EGG HUNT:

An EDA only community event for the whole family. There is no charge for this event - we just kindly ask that each family bring a snack for the buffet table.

SPRING IS COMING …. And so are the Easter bunnies!

Spring into Spring with us in this Alice in Wonderland inspired Ballet Workshop - Saturday 18th April 2.30-4.30pm, ages 6 plus, €42 (including VAT) per pupil.

Follow Alice and the white rabbit with a presentation of this mini ballet repertoire to parents at the end.

TEAM EDA:

I should have posted this yesterday as part of International Women‘s Day but as I don’t want to just thank Miss Katy on one day of the year I am sure I can be forgiven.

Team EDA is small but mighty! It’s pretty much just me in the day-to-day and that can get lonely. So Miss Katy is not only just a fabulous teacher for us but she is also always quietly there for me to support, give advice and get her sleeves dirty at EDA events and more!

She is a true team player, an amazing woman and a wonderful friend.

So thank you not just on international women‘s day but always ###
