Reformer Pilates mistakes beginners should avoid ✨
Starting Reformer Pilates is exciting – but like with every new workout, it takes a little time to understand the movement, the rhythm, and the technique. The good news? You don’t have to get everything perfect from the beginning.

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is moving too fast. In Pilates, slower often means stronger – because your muscles have to work with control instead of momentum. Another common one? Holding your breath. Your breath helps you stay focused, connected, and supported throughout every exercise.

And most importantly: don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone has a different body, a different starting point, and a different journey. Progress comes from showing up, staying consistent, and trusting the process.
