Haven’t done a daily vlog in a while. This one took a bit to put together… 😅

You know I like to travel a lot but oh how I enjoy my weekends in Vienna. I had the best day on Saturday: long run, coffee, breakfast, Genus’s festival, what more do I need? I can’t think of anything, really.

When it comes to my runs, I am motivated to try different routes, mostly on the weekends. I ran around the canal this time and it was amazinggg.

Later in the day we visited the Genuss festival: here, you could try different foods and drinks from local Austrian producers (from vegetables and fruits, to local rums, liquors, cheese, meat, etc.). I think we tried absolutely everything! 😅

We had some wine to end the day and that was it! Pretty close to perfect for me!

Everyone is doing the healthy mochi recipe at the moment, so I had to try it as well, cause I’m a huge fan of mochi.

I have to say that I’m quite disappointed, not that I didn’t expect it but it tastes NOTHING like it.

It’s very easy to make: you have to mix some yoghurt or Skyr with either some type of sweetener like honey or stevia, or you can put protein powder (like I did). You need to cut some fruits of your choice.

You will need rice papers. First you dip the rice paper into water so it softens, then you put your yoghurt mixture and you fold it. You dip it just a little bit in cornstarch, so it doesn’t stick and you put it in the freezer for 20-30 min.

Good snack but not the best. 5/10 for me.

By the way, the laugh at the end is sending me…😅

At this point I have a tradition to run before my flights, so here it is. ✈️ This was a very easy run and I felt amazing until the end of the day.

Knowing that my diet would suck once I leave for the airport, it’s important that I burn those extra calories, and it also sets me in a good mood. 🏃🏻‍♀️

I said it before and I’ll say it again, consistency will get you the results and nothing else!

Don’t you just love the runs that feel good? 🏃🏻‍♀️This run was all about the good vibes, warm weather and one of my absolute favourite routes in Vienna - the Danube island. 🇦🇹 I kept it easy, with absolute lily no pressure.

I’m thinking to up my mileage slowly, let’s see how it goes. 😅

It’s so nice to have places like this close to the big city. You can completely switch off and just enjoy the nature and each other’s company. 🏞️
