Für alle Lehrpersonen und Pädagog:innen, die die sozialen Kompetenzen von Kindern und Jugendlichen noch bewusster und zielgerichteter fördern möchten, gibt es die Möglichkeit, ein Seminar im Rahmen von „Peacemakers“ zu buchen.

Das Seminar über Zoom findet jeweils am ersten Montagabend im Monat (1,5 Stunden) statt – der nächste Termin ist am Montag, 4. Mai, von 17:00 bis 18:30 Uhr. Zwei Wochen später folgt eine weitere Einheit mit einem zusätzlichen Referenten.

Gemeinsam vermitteln wir praxisnahe Ansätze und konkrete Methoden, die dabei unterstützen, wertvolle Charaktereigenschaften und Tugenden zu stärken.

A culture of feedback and reflection is shaped, day by day.

In healthy organizations, feedback isn’t something we do once a year. It’s part of how we work together. Reflection isn’t an extra step. It’s how we learn, adjust, and move forward.

And this starts with leadership.

Not with new tools, but with how leaders show up in everyday moments: Do they listen without immediately defending? Do they admit when they got something wrong? Do they invite different perspectives — and truly consider them?

Tools can be helpful. But they don’t replace a culture where people feel respected, taken seriously, and encouraged to think and speak honestly.

So the real question is: How do we cultivate an environment in which reflection and feedback genuinely help everyone grow?

Because culture is not what we announce. It’s what people experience every day.

Eine Ehre Keynote Speaker für über 100 Lehrpersonen in Burgenland zu sein zum Thema: Jenseits von ‚wir gegen sie‘: Bildung für eine vereinte Gesellschaft. Gemeinsame Werte fördern, Vielfalt schätzen und das soziale Miteinander verbessern.
Ein Bildungssystem, das in erster Linie darauf ausgerichtet ist, junge Menschen darauf vorzubereiten, zu verdienen, zu kaufen, zu produzieren und zu konsumieren, verstärkt eine Gesellschaft, die durch gewisse Merkmale und Probleme gekennzeichnet ist; Bildung, die auf andere soziale Prioritäten ausgerichtet ist, ermöglicht Fortschritte in Richtung verschiedener Ziele. Ein solches Ziel ist die Förderung eines gesellschaftlichen Miteinanders, das durch ein Bildungssystem ermutigt werden kann, dass das Bewusstsein und das Engagement für das Wohl aller unterstützt. Denn die Bereitschaft, gemeinsame Werte und demokratische Prinzipien aufrechtzuerhalten, entspringt der Verpflichtung zum Wohlergehen der Gesellschaft als Ganzes.

I had the pleasure to attend a meeting at the Parlament about reforming the education system in Austria. I couldn’t agree more to the Minister of Education saying „character development needs to be at the heart of education“. Many decisions have been made with the aim of improving our schools, but there is still a long way to go.

The first encounter of children with the educational system is in many cases the kindergarten. It’s here that the foundation is laid — not just for learning, but for how children see themselves, others, and the world. Standing in front of 160 passionate educators reminded me how powerful their role is in shaping environments where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to grow.

Had a great day with 60 school principals of Vienna talking about systemic leadership - especially loved the conversations and questions that were asked to explore the impact of such leadership on students, the development of schools and society in general. With systemic leadership, schools can reach their inherent potentials. It starts with principals developing this consciousness and understanding.

I was honoured to be the keynote speaker at the Pedagogical University of Vienna. We can influence our choices, our attitudes and the way we relate to others, but there are also factors beyond our control. It’s how we respond to these challenges that matters. Let’s focus on what we can do, individually and collectively, and encourage each other to become agents of social transformation.
