One of the things we hear most often from students after a Yin Yoga class is:

„I didn’t realize how much I needed that.“

Many arrive feeling stressed, overwhelmed, tired, or disconnected from their bodies. After an hour of slowing down, breathing, and holding space for themselves, they leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded.

Yin Yoga isn’t always about stretching deeper, it’s about creating space. Space in the body, space in the mind, and space in a busy life.

Watching students soften, relax, and reconnect with themselves is one of my favorite parts of teaching Yin Yoga. ✨

Sama Vritti, or equal breathing, is one of the simplest yet most effective breathing practices for creating balance. By inhaling and exhaling for the same count, we signal safety to the body, calm the mind, and improve focus.

In 2026, stress isn’t just about doing too much , it’s about never truly switching off. A few minutes of conscious breathing can help regulate your nervous system, reduce anxiety, and bring you back to the present moment.

Try it today: inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 4 counts, and repeat for a few minutes.

Sometimes the most powerful reset is also the simplest. ✨
