hi, I’m Sandra! a while ago a skiing accident left me with a torn ACL. surgery followed the same day. 🏨
from day one I knew a strong mind was crucial for recovery, but it became challenging to keep this in focus admidst the obstacles.

my healing was slow and mobility limited. a locking sensation hindered my walk, causing pain with every step. doctors suggested further surgeries, but I chose another path. ❤️‍🩹

🌎 pain confined me to my apartment, limiting my world to its walls. I felt emotionally drained - crying became a constant companion leading to weeks of stagnation. my body felt weak, and so did my mind.

eventually I came to a pivotal realization:
this journey involves my mind just as much as my body!💡
I understood that a robust mindset is vital - a strong mind can care for a weak body.

I began training my mind daily: breaking limiting beliefs, calming my nervous system and building resilience. it took courage to stand up for myself when no one else could ease the pain. it wasn't an overnight transformation but eventually I developed a strong mind that propelled my body towards healing. my locking sensation vanished and I conquered my PT sessions with renewed strength. 💪
