Surprised myself yesterday. A few months back, I genuinely thought I was as fast as I was ever going to be. However, I shaved off almost 2 minutes since my last attempt.

That’s the last effort for this year as I want to end on a high, but 2026 I’ll go again 🏃‍♀️

Same same this week 🩷

So bloody chuffed I finally broke the 50 min mark for my 10km. I’ve been grinding away at my fitness and it’s finally paying off, despite many failed attempts.

It was a 2025 goal and it feels so good to have achieved it.

Now for that 200 watt FTP!

NTS: you saw the rain this morning and really didn’t want to run. But you also want to get a sun 50 min 10km in a few weeks. So well done for screwing the weather and sticking to the plan. Most people would rather stay inside but you know that won’t get you anywhere but frustrated. Keep going. Let’s hope your only pair of running trainers are dry for a 15km tomorrow.

As a working family we have to plan! I just can’t get my head around not doing it.

If you have fat loss/health goals, I think planning can really help you make the right decisions, keeping protein your main focus, ensuring you eat enough veggies and reducing waste!

Running (or any exercise) shouldn’t be a punishment.

And it definitely shouldn’t be something you do just to “undo” what you ate.

Yes, running can help with fat loss when paired with a calorie deficit. But it can also make you hungrier — and without the right habits in place, it’s easy to end up eating more than you use during exercise.

Exercise is amazing for your body and mind — and it should be something you enjoy. You’re far more likely to stick with it if it’s not coming from a place of guilt or self-punishment.

So if you love running? Brilliant — keep going.
But don’t force yourself to run just to lose weight, sort your s**t out with your diet for that. If you are v overweight, losing body fat will help with your endurance!

Movement should feel awesome….an achievement !
