If I were joining a training facility or hiring a coach today, these are the things I’d be looking for. 👀

Not just the equipment.
Not just the aesthetics.
And definitely not just the price.

I’d want to know that the people coaching me actually understand why we’re doing what we’re doing — and that the programming is designed around my goals, my ability, and my long-term progress.

I’d look for:
→ Coaches who pay attention to the details
→ Programming with purpose, not random workouts
→ A facility that makes me feel welcome and part of a community
→ An environment where I can be challenged without being broken down
→ Coaches who are willing to adapt when my body, training or life requires it
→ A place that cares about progression, not just getting you sweaty

Because a good training facility should give you more than a workout.

It should give you confidence, knowledge, community and a clear path forward.

And honestly, these are the standards I’ve tried to build into Sweaty Palms Fitness Club.

Swipe through the carousel and tell me — what’s the ONE thing you look for when choosing a gym or coach? 👇

I’ve often felt like people don’t understand why I put so much into my training.

Why HYROX. Why hybrid racing. Why I’m so determined to see how good I can become — especially with a business, family, clients, and countless responsibilities already demanding my time.

But I’ve never been afraid of doing things differently.

I’ve always wanted ownership over my outcomes. To know that the discipline, sacrifices, and uncomfortable days were building something I had earned.

That lesson started when I was a rhythmic gymnast. Sport taught me that nobody can do the work for you. That you’re responsible for showing up — even when you’re exhausted, unmotivated or don’t want to go.

My mom encouraged me through those moments, and I didn’t realise it then, but something bigger was being built.

Not just an athlete.

Resilience. Discipline. Self-belief. The ability to keep going when things get hard.

I carry those lessons into my business, my leadership, my relationships, and my training.

So maybe people don’t understand why this matters so much to me.

But I do.

Because this goal isn’t separate from the rest of my life. It makes me better at all of it.

And now, I get to choose how far I take it. 🖤

Life lately ✨

Friends that make my heart the happiest ❤️

Grateful to do what I love every single day 💜

Locking in… through all the ups and downs

Nothing better than a gym with scattered weights everywhere from a hard session … and the best team that make every session the happiest, most fun-filled sessions

New clients , old friends 🫶

Not every run or training session will go as planned. But the fact that we went for it anyway is more important

DO HARD THINGS. 🧠🔥

Training isn’t just about building a stronger body. It’s about building a stronger mind.

When you choose to do something difficult in training — when your legs are burning, your lungs are screaming and your brain is telling you to stop — you’re practising something that goes far beyond the gym.

You’re teaching yourself that discomfort doesn’t mean danger. Hard doesn’t mean impossible. And wanting to quit doesn’t mean you have to.

Life is going to throw hard things at us whether we’re ready for them or not. Difficult conversations. Setbacks. Stress. Loss. Change. Moments where things don’t go according to plan.

We can’t control when those moments come, but we can build the mental resilience to face them.

Every time you push through one more rep, finish that run, pick up the heavier weight or complete the workout you wanted to quit halfway through, you’re creating evidence that you are capable of doing hard things.

So don’t always train for comfort.

Train for resilience.
Train for discomfort.
Train for the moments when life gets hard.

Because sometimes the hardest thing you do today is preparing you for something you haven’t even faced yet. 🖤

Collagen isn’t just about skin ✨

As someone who trains hard, runs, lifts and puts my body through a lot, collagen has become part of my daily routine because it supports so much more than what we see on the outside.

Chemistry Natural Science Collagen X combines 4 types of collagen + hyaluronic acid to support skin, bones, joints and mobility, while also supporting gut health and overall connective tissue health.

For me, it’s about looking after the body that allows me to do what I love — training hard, working on my feet all day and being able to stay active. 💪🏼

And yes, supporting healthy skin is a pretty great bonus too! 😉

Use FITWITHJORDY for 10% off your Collagen X.
