For a long time, I thought I needed to “find myself.”

But the truth is, the person I wanted to become didn’t already exist somewhere waiting to be discovered.

She was created through every challenge, every setback, every early morning, every workout I didn’t feel like doing, and every time I chose to keep going when it would have been easier to quit.

The woman I am today is not the same woman I was a year ago. And the woman I’ll be a year from now will be shaped by the choices I make today.

You don’t find confidence.
You build it.

You don’t find strength.
You earn it.

You don’t find your future self.
You create her.

So if you’re feeling lost, don’t wait for clarity to arrive. Take one step forward. Then another. Trust that every small action is helping shape the person you’re becoming.

Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Your future self will thank you for it.

Right…..

The past few weeks have been BUSY. 🐝

Relocating my gym, having to go up and down from old venue to new venue, settling in to the space, moving things around, moving things around again and then again, drilling things in walls, making to-do lists and then more to-do lists for the to-do lists …

My training and that time for myself and my mind has taken the backseat while everything else has been in a constant state of a mix of excitement, stress and overwhelm. Training helped me reset, refocus, gather my thoughts, have that hour to just be, push myself and progress.

Dont get me wrong, I’ve been training. It’s my discipline that has been pulling me through (another reason I LOVE training), but the quality hasn’t been there. I’ve been moving my body around much more than usual and with having such a big gym now I’m getting over 10k steps a day. But mentally I haven’t been there and I am starting to feel it take a toll on my mind and my body.

So now it’s time to lock back in. Focus on my mental state during training. Because that mental focus I activate during training helps me to mentally overcome all the other challenges that come with business owning and just general human-ing.

I’m excited. I’m ready.

You can be incredibly motivated and still get thrown off track.

Life happens.
You get sick.
Work gets hectic.
Setbacks happen.

The goal was never to be perfect.

The goal is to keep coming back.

Pick yourself up.
Get back to your routine.
Keep the promises you made to yourself.

Because success doesn’t come from never falling off track—it comes from refusing to stay there.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is not eating enough before or after their workouts.

Think of food as fuel for your body. ⛽️

Eating carbohydrates before training gives your body the energy it needs to work hard, lift heavier, run faster, and get more out of your session.

After training, your body needs fuel to recover. Having a meal or snack with carbs and protein helps your muscles repair and replace the energy you’ve used during exercise.

🔋Before training: Eat carbs for energy.
🪫After training: Eat carbs and protein for recovery.

You don’t need to earn your food by exercising. Food is what helps you perform, recover, and make progress.

Remember:
✔️ Better fuel = Better workouts
✔️ Better recovery = Better results
✔️ Consistency beats perfection

Don’t be afraid of carbs—they’re one of your body’s best sources of energy when you’re active and can play a key role in helping you feel stronger, recover better, and get the most out of your training.

The best training plan is the one you can stay consistent with. Finding a place that can program your training for you is an extra win (like 😏)

And even then, Not every workout will feel amazing.
Not every session will be your strongest.
Some days you’ll feel tired, busy, stressed, or unmotivated.

Show up anyway.

Because progress isn’t built from perfect workouts. It’s built from hundreds of ordinary sessions stacked together over time.

A missed rep won’t ruin your results.
A less-than-perfect workout won’t set you back.
But constantly waiting for the “perfect” day to train will.

Consistency beats perfection every single time.

✔️ Do the workout even if you need to scale it.
✔️ Show up even if your energy is lower than usual.
✔️ Train with what you have on that day.
✔️Make sure you’re still giving yourself the best possible shot by fueling correctly

Remember: the people who achieve incredible results aren’t always the most talented. They’re often the ones who simply kept showing up.

Keep moving. Keep training. Keep stacking the win
