And they’re off!

The athletes are back, the training base is in fine shape and the staff are raring to go once again 💪

Although there’s always spring and summer training to be had around the globe with Ambition, it is the returning to Pension Haus Tirol & the Autumn colours that really make it feel like a new season is beginning 🍂

A warm welcome to the 2026/27 team - to the old guard returning for their 8th, 9th (or even 10th - Mr Faber) season & to the new faces who have come aboard; trusting us to take care of their programming for the winter ahead ❄️

We’ve just completed close to a week of staff training, covering everything from Coaching & Programming, to Finance & Accounting, Safeguarding & Welfare, and much more. Basically everything one could need, to add a new logo to some paperwork and bang out their own ski team next month 😂😅 (hopefully this gang will stay longer than that 😉)

All joking aside, we are excited to be back home and to get going. And, despite the warmer temperatures, are eager to make the most of the opportunities that lay before us, no matter how they look.

Be sure to follow along, we’ll try to ensure we share a variety of results & accomplishment, mixed in with some humour and p**s taking along the way too ;) as always!

Enjoy ☺️

The Gletscherjet at Kitzsteinhorn - DER GLETSCHER 😍

Imagine if the glacier lift systems of the world could tell their stories. The things they’ve seen, the words they’ve heard 😳

Looking forward to early morning coaches chats, speedy boarding, kids lapping on the gondola for better WiFi reception (or hiding under hand dryers in the toilets on the cold days), the ‘traverse’ across to area 4, choosing chair VS gondola at the alpine centre, finding lane 6/7 & 0.5 all exist on area 4…… and so much more!

We cannot wait to get back in the thick of it, a busy few months coming up as we head into *season 20* of Ambition!

Rate our turns 🪱😇

Rumour has it, this was some of the best Slalom skiing seen up on during autumn 2025 🤷🏻‍♂️

Look who’s back 🤩

We’ve had a few guys on the injury list this summer but with Harvey Stanley at the helm of our UK return to snow projects - kindly supported by The Snow Centre Hemel - we can look forward to the returns of Oliver Dand, Lillia Simmonds, Ava Sheloff and (although doing his build up skiing in the Netherlands), Mr Nick Van Kuik! 🤝

Fingers crossed for smooth sailing ⛵️ and safer waters going forward🤞
