Sailors Ski Trip

This is the public "fan" page of the annual Sailors Ski Trip:
since 2011 every year people from the sail training family gather for a week of snow sports!

What started back in 2011 as a fun way to keep Tall Ships Race's sailors connected during winter, has grown into a successful event (for non sailors too!) which has been taking place year on year without interruption. From the Italian Dolomites to the Swiss and Austrian Alps, the Sailors Ski Trip gathers each years between 16 and 20 people from international horizons who enjoy skiing, snowboarding

, cross-country skiing, sledging, or just walking, cooking, drinking and having fun! The Sailors Ski Trip welcomes all skiing & snowboarding levels, from beginner to advanced. We come from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Sweden, the UK, Russia, Slovakia, Czech, Austria, Italy, Poland, Germany and Finland! And we look forward to having you on board this year!

Happy new year!
No posts in a long while but at the same time Sailors' Ski Trip 2023 immediately got fully booked back in September!
For 2024 we may consider a different place, most likely early/mid January again.
If you want to join us in 2024 please let us know right early!

This time we managed to let the Sailors Ski Trip happen!
All of us had our booster shots and all of us got tested beforehand (independent of Austrian regulations) and afterwards.
Sun shine galore together with plenty wind: you can't have everything! But fun we had! Some pictures to follow soon.
