Our last project meeting happened in May 2025 in Katerini, Greece 🇬🇷🌊

This final meeting was a true celebration of everything we built together – learning, sharing, playing, and growing through Water Skyball 🏐🤝
Alongside theoretical and practical sessions, demonstration matches and an Amateur WSB Championship brought the community together 🔥🏆
A real highlight was the first-ever Water Skyball training involving athletes with physical and mental disabilities, proving once again how inclusive and adaptable the sport truly is 💙✨

Heartfelt thanks to our host partners, Asterias swim academy and Εργαστήριο Αναπτυξιακών και Κινητικών Διαταραχών , for the outstanding hosting and well-structured program – it was the perfect way to close this inspiring project together! 🙌🌟

In February 2025, our WSB Training of Trainers project continued in Bucharest, Romania 🇷🇴🎓

This meeting brought together theory, practice, and competition, showing how Water Skyball fits perfectly into both academic education and real-life sport environments 🏐💦
University students, coaches, and sport professionals trained side by side, while the Amateur Water Skyball Championship once again proved how inclusive and engaging the sport can be 🤝🔥
The strong connection between universities and sport clubs made this meeting especially valuable.

In October 2024, our WSB Training of Trainers project arrived in Opole, Poland 🇵🇱🎉
This meeting was all about education, inspiration, and opening Water Skyball to new audiences – especially sport teachers and schools 🏫🏐

We kicked things off with a teachers’ conference and open training, then wrapped it up with the 1st International Polish Water Skyball Championship, bringing real competition energy and visibility to the sport 💦🔥
Great discussions, hands-on sessions, and enthusiastic feedback showed just how well WSB fits into school and community sport programs.

Special thanks to our host partner, T.S. Iron Man, ffor the great hosting and professional coordination – it was a pleasure to work and learn together! 🙌✨

Our second WSB Training of Trainers project meeting took us to Germany 🇩🇪✨

In August 2024, we focused on sharpening coaching skills, sharing best practices, and exploring how Water Skyball can be adapted to different local environments 🏐🌍

Practical sessions, inspiring exchanges, and an Amateur Water Skyball Cup once again showed how inclusive, flexible, and fun the sport really is 🤝🔥
This meeting strengthened our international community and boosted everyone’s motivation to bring WSB into national sport programs.

Our first WSB Training of Trainers project meeting kicked off in Hungary in July, 2024! 🌊🤝

Four intense and inspiring days in Szeged and Makó filled with Water Skyball training, great discussions, and hands-on learning both on land and in the water 🏐💦
Coaches and partners from across Europe trained together, shared experiences, and even took part in an Amateur Water Skyball Cup – a real highlight that showed the community power of the sport 🔥🏆
Great teamwork, lots of learning, and an amazing atmosphere made this meeting a strong foundation for everything that followed.

As our project comes to an end, we'd like to share with you what we've worked on during the last 2 years in WSB-EU-ToT.

Over the past two years, our WSB-EU-ToT team has been busy bringing something fresh, fun, and forward-thinking to European sport. We set out to create great educational materials, help coaches grow, and introduce a new training method built around a unique and exciting sport: Water Skyball.

Together with fantastic partners – a sport federation, two universities, and two sport clubs from Hungary, Germany, Greece, Poland, and Romania – we’ve been working to show how new-generation sports can make training smarter, more inclusive, and a lot more enjoyable.

From developing resources for coaches, to spreading the word about innovative sport methods, this project has been all about learning, experimenting, and opening doors for the future of sport education.

🏁As the final phase of our project, we organized multiplier events during the last quarter of 2023. The goal of these events was

💡 to find new ideas and possible cooperation in the field of sports.

Thanks to our host, Club LifeLongLearning and Thomas Vondrak, and the co-organizers from BSV Wassenberg 01, Εργαστήριο Αναπτυξιακών και Κινητικών Διαταραχών, Δήμητρα Κουτσούκη, Καθηγήτρια ΕΚΠΑ/Dimitra Koutsouki Professor NKUA, and the Water Skyball Federatoin.

It was nice seeing the players from Innsbruck to compete and have fun, as well as the project partners mastering their skill in Water Skyball. 🙂💪🇪🇺
