A special visit from Vietnam 🤝
Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a long-standing customer from
Vietnam to our headquarters in Austria.
The visit to Global Hydro marked a special stop on an extraordinary journey from Vietnam to Paris. 🚗🌍 As part of the "Saigon - Paris 2026 | The Silk Road Expedition", the two travellers are covering thousands of kilometres by car, crossing numerous countries throughout Asia and Europe.

For Global Hydro, long-standing customer are an essential part of our international business. Close , mutual trust and personal exchange provide a strong foundation for working together successfully over many years. 🤝 Our collaboration with our Vietnamese customer is a great example of such a connection.

With a weight of 14 tons and a length of approximately 5.7 meters, it was specifically designed for installation in an existing facility with limited space, delivering around 12.2 MW.

A new milestone at Global Hydro's Innovation & Manufacturing Center in Austria: Our fourth and largest CNC 5-axis machining center is now fully operational, representing another important investment in expanding our advanced manufacturing capabilities. ⚙️

Designed to machine components weighing up to 14 tons and measuring up to 3.1 meters, the new system allows us to manufacture larger runners than ever before while further increasing flexibility and production capacity.

As demand for revitalization projects and replacement runners continues to grow worldwide, the additional machining capacity enables Global Hydro to respond quickly whenever customer demand arises. This helps reduce waiting and lead times, meet urgent requirements with greater flexibility and ensure reliable project ex*****on.

Powering Malaysia’s renewable future. 🌏
The Batang Kali Small Hydropower Plant is another great example of how strong partnerships and reliable hydropower technology create lasting value. Developed together with Worldwide Holdings, the project contributes clean, sustainable electricity to Malaysia’s growing renewable energy portfolio.

Global Hydro supplied two vertical Pelton turbines with a total installed capacity of 6.600 KVA, together with the complete electromechanical equipment for the whole plant. The project also features our HerosControl Plant Control System, providing intelligent monitoring with full plant automation for "unmanned operation", and highest efficient operational management to ensure reliable performance throughout the plant’s lifecycle. ⚙️
The successful realization of this project was built on close cooperation and a shared commitment to quality throughout all project phases. We are proud to contribute to the generation of renewable energy in Malaysia and to help deliver reliable, sustainable electricity for generations to come. 🤝💧
