This is our recap of ‪‬ , where Austrian Ocean Racing powered through every condition to claim 2nd place in our class aboard our VO65 Sisi.

It was a week of intense sailing, tactical battles, and moments of raw beauty on the water. From light airs to full-send conditions, the Caribbean put us to the test—and we loved every second of it.

This Fastnet race was rather calm and slow compared to the past years. After a memorable start with 450 other boats, Sisi rounded the Fastnet rock at sunrise of the second morning after two days of light upwind sailing. Then followed a light VMG downwind sailing until Cherbourg, but not without an epic gybing duel with Sailing Poland. Sisi finished after 3d 9h 38min 38s, and then headed back to Portsmouth for well deserved beers :-)
Next up: Sisi’s delivery trip from the Solent via Vigo to Palermo, followed by the Palermo-Montecarlo regatta starting Aug 18th.
