In preparation for some great sessions on the model together with a true expert in the field, we came across methods again.
And looking at the principles, that Haier and many others succeed with, scaling agile - especially those plain hierarchical, complicated models - look so totally wrong! Despite all the arguments, the fancy pictures, the endless buzzwords, these kind of models (not giving them a name here) look so much backwards-oriented.
We can't wait to announce our first about the Haier model, RenDanHeYi, the principles behind, and how others are moving their organizations beyond known boundaries into a 21st century business model. The event will take please on November 24th, 4:00PM CET. Stay tuned to catch the conversation.
In the meanwhile, if you still think about scaling , there are few considerations, which will help you to avoid effort and money big time:
👉. Avoid scaling by any means possible
👉. Focus on vital small units and their relationships
👉. Avoid the traditional hierarchy or any poster, offering such a hierarchy
👉. Go with as little but as sharp principles in the beginning as possible
👉. Let principles and practices emerge
👉. Foster leadership across the whole ecosystem, which will fertilize emergence
👉. Don't confuse leadership with managers
👉. All you need to focus on is customer experience, entrepreneurial energy across the ecosystem, sharing the value created amongst those, who created it
👉. A vital system you can recognize. It is a highly dynamic ecosystem, close to a living organism. And in contrary this it is not a heavy-weight hierarchy.
