What an event. 💪

The World Synchronized Skating Championships on April 10 - 11, 2026, at the Salzburgarena were a complete success - athletically, organizationally and from our perspective as the ice technology partner.

👉 And an ice surface that met international standards

We are especially proud that Skate Austria - here our interview with Mag.a Theresa Katzlinger - was more than satisfied with the ice quality - because that’s exactly our standard: perfection for the world’s elite. ⛸️

From 10 to 12 April 2026, Innsbruck will become the stage for something completely new:
Ultimate Hockey – Breaking the Ice Tour 🏒

A world premiere on ice, and we’re right in the thick of it:
👉 A new, international ice hockey format
👉 3-a-side under the open sky
👉 Teams from six nations
👉 A total of 17 matches

And, as always, we’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, handling the complete planning and installation of the entire ice surface, as well as the fitting of dasher boards, goals and rink markings. We’ll also supply our ice resurfacing machines to maintain consistently optimal conditions and look after the ice surface throughout the event. 💪

As the exclusive equipment partner, we’re bringing our decades of experience from international projects to a completely new event format. Our Sales Manager Murat Yilmaz says:

Perfect ice doesn't happen by chance. 😎

We attended the 2026 Ice Rink Managers' Conference in Chemnitz. 👏

From 24 to 26 March, we met there with ice masters, operations managers and interested staff from synthetic ice rinks to gather new ideas, learn from one another and strengthen existing contacts. 🤝

Our brief summary:
👉 There is much more to every ice surface than meets the eye.
👉 The technology must be precisely calibrated.
👉 Decades of experience make ALL the difference when it comes to professional ice.
👉 And expertise must be constantly developed.

That’s exactly why exchanging ideas with other experts is so important. 💡

The VDFU ConnEX 2026 from February 24 to 26 was once again a great opportunity for us to engage in personal exchanges with operators, partner companies and decision-makers from the leisure and adventure industry. ⛸️

Interesting conversations, discussions and presentations provided valuable insights for identifying developments at an early stage and implementing projects in an even more targeted manner. Especially in the area of adventure ice rinks and ice infrastructure, topics such as cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency and innovative usage concepts are becoming increasingly important. 🌿

By participating in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events such as ConnEX, we stay on the ball, continue to develop and incorporate new ideas directly into our projects. 🌿

A recap of another ice project of this season: At the Kremmen Spargelhof in Brandenburg, Germany, a lovingly designed ice rink invited visitors of all ages to enjoy ice skating and curling. ⛸️

Precise planning, reliable cooling technology and consistent ice quality - even under changing conditions - ensured that this attraction near Berlin remained a crowd-puller until February 8, 2026. Thanks to modern ice maintenance and efficient technology, the ice rink stayed permanently usable and energy-optimized. ✅

Olympic spirit straight from Tyrol. 🔥

We bring winter sports directly to the people: for the Olympic Festival in Budweis, organized by the Czech Olympic Committee, we worked with our partner Energo Choceň to create a complete ice world covering around 5,000 m². 💙

Parallel to the Winter Olympics in Milan & Cortina in February 2026, a unique fan and experience zone for winter sports enthusiasts was created:
🏒 Ice hockey
🥌 Curling
⛸️ Skateway
🛷 Bobsleigh track
❄️ Public ice rinks

More than 100,000 visitors took the opportunity to try out Olympic sports for themselves in the middle of the city - not just watching them on public screens, but actively participating in the action.

We are proud to have been part of this international project and to have created something special together with strong partners. 💪

We are so proud of our exceptionally talented young athletes from Außerfern. ⛸️

As a long-standing sponsor of the EKA Eiskunstlaufverein Ausserfern figure skating club, we are delighted with the fantastic success of Corinna and Patrik Huber at the international Nacka Trophy in Stockholm. 👏

With two strong performances, the sibling duo took first place in the ice dancing discipline, making an impressive sporting mark for the EKA on the international stage. 🥇

For us at AST Eis- & Solartechnik, supporting young talent is a matter close to our hearts. Successes like this show what can be achieved with passion, hard work, and team spirit. Congratulations to both of you and the entire club.
