Well, this lands in the category of ˋreally cool´ things to do. We are in Obergurgl, Austria for the Men’s and Women’s World Cup Slalom events this weekend. Great snow and nice and cold in Obergurgl. We are staying in the Bellevedere with the Swiss and Swedish Mens teams. Apparently the top boys travel with 25 - 30 pairs of slalom skiis … each.

Last full day in our great campsite just outside of Collioure, France. Today’s ride was an out-and-back to the Spanish border at the Col de Banyuls via the amazing D86(video). Stunning comes to mind but words are never enough. Some photos in the next post.

One of our favourite loops from Bedoin, France - up to the Col de la Madeleine (the other one, not the big one), down to Malaucène and the rolling Suzette loop. Return via Crillon le Brave. Mainly sunny - 26°, no wind, no cars, only cyclists. Could be worse.

Final commercial trip of 2023 . For this tour we created a completely new week-long trip for a bunch of friends from the US. We rode in the gentle rolling hills of eastern Switzerland from Winterthur to Lindau in Germany (Lake Constance). Beautiful late summer weather ... well one day was damp. Ok, it poured. Lunch was great though.

Today’s stage ends in Poligny where we ran a trip last year. Fantastic traffic-free roads, great wine and excellent French cuisine. I think that we found a better entrance to Poligny?
