A veces los cambios de nombre no son un cambio de rumbo, sino una reafirmación.
Después de muchos años de práctica y enseñanza, sentí que era momento de dar nombre propio a este espacio que nació gracias a que mi padre, hace décadas, me llevara a practicar Karate-dō al Centro Argentino de Karate-dō de la familia Higa, el Higa Dōjō. Fue mi maestro, Benito Higa Sensei, quien confió en mí y me llevó de la mano por este bello camino de enseñar Budō y de transmitir la cultura okinawense, y por ello le estaré eternamente agradecido, pues dejó una marca distintiva.
Ese espíritu de gratitud y responsabilidad me llevó a elegir un nombre que refleje mi historia y mi compromiso.
Por eso, 𝐒𝐮á𝐫𝐞𝐳 𝐃ō𝐣ō – スアレス道場.
No es una ruptura con el pasado, sino la forma más honesta de honrar mis raíces en el Karate-dō Kyūdōkan y el Kobudō Ryūkonkai, y de seguir formando, como siempre nos enseñó mi maestro, buenas personas.

Sometimes a name change isn’t a shift in direction, but rather a reaffirmation.
After many years of practice and teaching, I felt it was time to give this space its own name, a space that began decades ago when my father first took me to practice Karate-dō at the Centro Argentino de Karate-dō of the Higa family, the Higa Dōjō. It was my master, Benito Higa Sensei, who trusted me and guided me by the hand along this beautiful path of teaching Budō and sharing Okinawan culture. I will be forever grateful to him for the distinctive mark he left behind.
That spirit of gratitude and responsibility led me to choose a name that truly reflects my history and commitment.
Therefore, 𝐒𝐮á𝐫𝐞𝐳 𝐃ō𝐣ō – スアレス道場.
It is not a break from the past, but the most honest way to honor my roots in Karate-dō Kyūdōkan and Kobudō Ryūkonkai, and to continue shaping, as my master always taught us, good people.
