Primer UTMB. Primer podio. Diez años de camino.
Los sueños no tienen edad.
Tienen un proceso.

Some podiums are earned in a day.
Others are built over ten years.
Emily Schmitz ran her first trail race at 35. At 45, she stood on the UTMB start line for the first time.
She began with patience: around 17th at Les Contamines, 7th at Courmayeur, and already on the podium with 50 kilometers still to go.
On the final descent, she didn’t simply defend third place—she started chasing second.
She reached Chamonix 3rd in 22:17:28, only 1:34 behind second place, after running the fastest second half among the 2026 women’s top ten.
This is far more than a result. It is proof that time is not always working against us. With patience, consistency and belief, it can become an advantage.
First UTMB. First podium. Ten years in the making.
Dreams don’t have an age.
They have a process.
