🎾 BACKHAND DOWN-THE-LINE: PRECISION, PURPOSE & CONTROL

One of the most beautiful — and most challenging — shots in tennis 🎯

Many players go for the down-the-line backhand aiming for a winner… and end up in the net, wide or long. Why? Because this shot isn’t about luck — it’s about timing, technique, and purpose.

💡 My key coaching points:

✔️ Rotate your shoulders like you’re aiming with your body
✔️ Don’t just look for the winner — use it to pull your opponent out of position
✔️ Make contact in front, around your front hip
✔️ Balance > power — it's about control and ex*****on

Once you find that zone, your backhand becomes a real weapon.

Miami Vibes 🌞 ❤️

This is, without a doubt, one of the most unique cities in the United States 🇺🇸

•

I came to Miami for the first time during the winter, and naturally, I fell in love with the weather 🥵

•

Is Miami America? Is it a state? And Is it the South? Many people keep asking me that … I love Miami for the same reason I love the places I loved most around the world… it’s a mix there, this big, messy, dysfunctional hell broth of people from all over the world that make it so awesome and make it a place I want to keep coming back to ❤️

Miami and the people who I meet there, friends like family, students, players … were incredible. This city gave me it’s best version and the possibility of returning the favor creating the best version of myself 🚀

I am already looking forward to next time to be back there 📆 . Sooner or later, I'll be back. Hopefully it will be soon 🙏🏼 .

Miami has embraced me and I love them for that 💕
