HOW AND WHERE TO BOOK AN ACCOMMODATION

This is the second time we are booking accommodation on the booking. There you can find resorts and guest houses on the territorial islands.

‼ ️When booking accommodation on the booking, please note that the local Maldivian tax is added to the final price, it is spelled out in small print at the bottom of the price. I made a screenshot of booking for abstract dates and attached it with a carousel in the very last photo.

HOW TO SEARCH
Prices per week start from 12,000 to infinity, depending on your preference. But my search algorithm is like this.
✅ I put Maldives in the search and indicate the desired arrival dates, the number of guests.‼ ️ Here is a life hack, if you have children 7+, it may be cheaper not to indicate them in the search, but to request an extra bed in the room from the hotel, as this instilled significantly underestimates the price. In our case, in the initial search, we were offered 2 rooms - for 2 adults and 2 children, but when removed from the original request for Yura's reservation, we left 1 room and requested an extra bed for $ 8 / night
✅ In addition, I indicate the food and the first line. Meals I need breakfast-lunch-dinner, but if this is not important for you, there are other options.
IMPORTANT!! Not all hotels are full board. As for food in local cafes, it is not very cheap and not all islands have cafes. Here it is important to read the reviews.
✅ I make a selection based on reviews, preferably 9+, and sort by price.
‼ ️ After you have several options left, most likely on different attols, be sure to read reviews about these islands and see the photos.
For example, there is the island of Maaffushi, where there is very inexpensive housing, but an endless party. I would not go there with children, but if you are 20, then this is just a piece of paradise 😃😉

As for the staff, the Maldivians are very kind, and they especially love children. Therefore, I am sure that there will be no problems with staff in all guest houses and resorts. You will be 100% satisfied and will do everything to make your holiday unforgettable.

I would advise you to book accommodation in several places for 3-4 days each, it’s more interesting, but now they say that sometimes reservations are not confirmed due to covid, supposedly it should arrive and is located only on one island.
