So very proud of this young man. He has basically been training/competing for an entire year. We began our Fall training on September 30th, 2017 and Nick has been putting work in since then. He had a short break of about 5 weeks after the World Juniors in July but we normally take off 2 1/2 months before starting our Fall conditioning at the end of September. We had roughly 6 weeks to get ready for the Youth Olympics but Nick was up to the task. Throw in 2 College visits during that period now it's basically 4 weeks of training.

It's been a grueling year for Nick, starting with indoor and continuing thru the outdoor season. He has competed against the Nations best as well as the World's best U18. For him to run 47.2 in October and come away with Bronze is a true testament to a great young man.
