Elbasan Arena Sports Venue & Stadium With the new qualities, the stadium might host the quarter-finals of the Champions-League.

The Elbasan Stadium will be the new football arena in which our national team will hold the eliminatory matches for the next European Championship. The old “Ruzhdi Bizhuta” stadium has been demolished and the work is continuing with intensity, since everything should be ready within September. This is about a 2 million EUR investment given by the Albanian government for realizing a stadium that wi

ll have a capacity of 10.000 seats. Everything will be ready for the matches of September, while Albania will play the first matches in transfer. Chances are that the final deadline will be reached, and after this, the national stadium “Qemal Stafa” will be demolished.
