Pakistan Golf Federation Hosts First-Ever Level II Rules of Golf Seminar in Pakistan
The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) has made history by launching the Level II Rules of Golf Seminar—a first of its kind in Pakistan. The two-day seminar, which began today, 15 April 2025, is currently underway and will conclude on 16 April 2025. This milestone event has attracted enthusiastic participation from across all provinces, highlighting a strong national commitment to professional growth in golf.
Manager PGF Malik Muhammad Kamran Awan shared, “This seminar is a significant step toward ensuring a quality game in Pakistan. It will help strengthen the understanding and application of the Rules of Golf nationwide.”
Lt Col Zahid Iqbal, senior-most referee and instructor, stated, “It was my dream to see this level of seminar take place in Pakistan. It wasn’t easy, but this PGF management has made it happen. Today’s participants are fortunate—we paid a huge cost in the past to become certified Tournament Administrators.”
Maj Rao Muhammad Ismail, one of the key instructors and part of the organizing team, added, “It’s a great initiative by the Pakistan Golf Federation to conduct the Level II Rules Seminar and Exam. I’m honored to be part of it. The seminar is running smoothly, and it’s been a pleasure sharing knowledge with participants eager to learn.”
Brig Sajid Akram also expressed appreciation, saying, “I really commend the efforts of the Rules Committee of the Pakistan Golf Federation. Their dedication is evident in the smooth conduct and structure of this important seminar.”
Another highlight of the seminar is the active participation of more than five women, reinforcing PGF’s focus on gender inclusivity and equal opportunity in golf development.
The ongoing seminar is being led by Pakistan’s top TARS Qualified Referees:
