Hon. Ibrahim Kiazolu Calls for Unity and Full Support for Grand Cape Mount County Teams Ahead of County Meet
With the excitement building in Cape Mount ahead of the upcoming National County Sports Meet, Hon. Ibrahim Kiazolu has called on all sons and daughters of Grand Cape Mount County to put aside political differences and unite behind the county’s male and female teams.
Hon. Kiazolu believes Grand Cape Mount has the talent, determination, and collective strength required to compete for the championship this year—but emphasized that success will depend on the level of unity and support from citizens of the county.

The Grand Cape Mount son has demonstrated his commitment to grassroots football development through tangible support to teams and football organizers across the county.
In a recent intervention, Hon. Kiazolu provided US$500 to support both the male and female teams representing Garwula District, helping them secure decent accommodation at BeeCee Guesthouse in Bo-Waterside during their participation in the district-level competition.
He also contributed an additional US$500 to the Grand Cape Mount County Steering Committee, which was responsible for organizing the county’s districts tournament, to strengthen its logistical operations.
Speaking to Grassroots Football Reporter, Hon. Kiazolu reaffirmed that his commitment to Grand Cape Mount football extends beyond individual teams and competitions.
As a son of Garwula District and Grand Cape Mount County, he said his office remains open and ready to work with the Grand Cape Mount County Steering Committee and other stakeholders to help create the necessary environment for the county to pursue championship success.
🗣Hon. Kiazolu also expressed confidence in the philosophy and leadership of Grand Cape Mount County Head Coach Pepper Juventus Pinturicchio Peru, saying he believes the coach has the vision and technical approach capable of delivering results.
