Sharjah tuna fishing competition last weekend :
We got the only fish on a lure out of 60 boats as they were mainly feeding on life bait - weighted 2nd biggest tuna at 81.7 kg and 5th place on overall weights ..great team work as usual and again our lure did not fail us ..it works when nothing else work .
Ahmed Khalil done a great job hooking and fighting this big one and a great fight from Taweel as well - simply a perfect team work ;)
Captain Ahmed Algendy done a great job finding the tuna and perfect gaffing as well .. best boat from east cost fishing charter and great organising from Abu Omar .
Was one of those great days at the sea 🤪

At first drift / first drop !!
Was lucky to hook and land this 19.7 kg cobia on a light jigging set up ( pe1.5 line -40 lb leader ) on a 40 gram jig .
Fight took around 20-25 mins and with great boat maneuvering from Captain Rabah and perfect one shot gaffing from Ahmed mission accomplished.
Thanks guys for one of the best light tackle fight i ever had ..my best fishing buddies.

Hi Guys ,
was in Italy for 3 days business trip and I have one day off - Riccardo hooked me up with Diego of HSFA - Ancona
( which was one hour driving away from where I stayed - I took my chances & go for it .
friendly people - very professional - tried all the trick we do here ( poppers - stick baits ..etc. .
but fish seems only eating soft bait at this time of the year ( Crazy Sand EEl ) - pink was the lucky color .
fishes range from 35-40 kgs - but really the fight is different than the YFT .
all fish catch and release due to Italian regulation – not allowed to take it into the boat for photo’ing it
nice experience and the best of it that it wasn’t planed .
