7 year old UAE national dressage rider

I hope my grandfather is looking down. Knowing how much I love him, I would swim it thousand times over for him 💙💗 thank you to everyone who supported me by donating I could not have done it without you.

11-year-old Shamsa AlMheiri swam the equivalent of the English Channel (34kms/21miles) over the course of 10 days to pay tribute to her late grandfather who passed away from . Shamsa smashed her initial target of AED 10,000 raising almost AED 18,000 to support cancer . We were delighted to add Shama’s names to recognition wall.

‏البارحة كان يوم العاطفي لا يمكن وصفه بكلمات. ‏شي احلى من فوزي ‏في بطولة الفروسية للصغار ‏وكان لي الشرف بلقاء ‏صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان. ‏لا احد لديه هذه الفرصة ‏كان يزورها على المستوى الشخصي مع عائلته ‏الجميلة ما شاء الله. ‏اقتربت منه لأعرفه على نفسي ‏و أوقفني قبل ان انهي كلامي و قال (‏السلام عليكم شمسة لقد سمعت عنك الكثير ) ‏من ابنته التي كان من الممتع لقاها و ركوبها ‏قبل بضعة أسابيع وهذا الأسبوع، ‏هي موهوبه حقاً في ركوب الخيل وهي محبوبة لدى ‏ليست كفارسة إماراتية فقط بل من محبين الفروسية حقاً. ‏اخبرته أن حلمي أن أذهب إلى الأولمبيات ‏وأن أمثل دولة الإمارات. ‏كلماته ‏المشجع كانت اكثر من كفاية لأن أجعل هذا الحلم حقيقة.
‏كانت هذه فرصة عفوية لكوني الفارسة الوحيدة التي قابلت صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد. ‏سأكون دائما ممتنة وسعيدة بمقابلة بطل الأمم حفظه الله و عائلتة.🇦🇪 _____________________________________‏
Yesterday a day of emotions words cannot describe. More better then winning the junior UAE Dressage Championships I had the honour to meet with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Nobody else had this opportunity he was visiting on a personal level with His beautiful family MashAllah. I approached him to introduce myself and before I could finish he stopped me and said "salam alikoim Shamsa I've heard alot about you" from his daughter who I also had the pleasure to meet and ride with a few weeks ago and this weekend she is such a talented rider who is already my idol not only as an emirati female equestrian but one who also loves dressage too.
I told him of my dream to go one day and represent the UAE in the Olympics.🇦🇪
His encouraging words was more then enough to make me want to make this dream turn into a reality.
This was a spontaneous opportunity and being the only rider to have met him, I will always be truly grateful and happy to have met the nation's hero God bless him always and his family 💖 @ Al Forsan International Sports Resort

competing today with the adults again only junior rider affiliated did prelim4 and got my personal best at 73.10% coming 1st place but my BIGGEST win was in my 2nd class novice 4 a big class of all adult riders with some or nearly most of them competing at higher levels (including PSG riders).Electra and I smashed it 66.83% today all your hard work and dedication to us has paid off so proud to call you my trainer thank you for everything you do for us 💖 and thank you too everyone who told me I couldn't because you gave me that bit more push to do it 👊 @ Boudheib Initiative Endurance

"A picture is worth a thousand words" ...And there isn't enough words to tell you all how much I love my best friend...taking home 2nd place at the nationals with 71% and mixed juniors and seniors. We've have come so far and in such little time a big thanks to my trainer as always cant wait for the next one 💖

What a fantastic way to end the season of 2018. 🥇st place at the nationals this morning. We've had a successful busy last few months. I couldn't have done it without my no1 trainer by my side .It hasn't been easy but all the hard work has paid off Thank you so much putting up with everything and being patient with me 😜. Last night at Emirates Equestrian Centre nationals very happy she did everything I could have asked for (a few mistakes from me)it was prelim 4 so was a harder test to prepare usually for novice good girl Electra overall fantastic way to end the last two weeks of competing 💗🏆🙌🏼
