“How to Build an Olympic Champion”

DUBAI - Professional Sports and Lifeguard Services in conjunction with FINIS and approved by the UAE Swimming Federation is pleased to announce this unique continuing education opportunity to be held in Dubai from 13-15 Nov 2016.
Held over the series of three days, the course will touch on pivotal topics associated with helping to support the making of an Olympic Champion. The audience will be introduced to the relevance of sport physiology and nutrition and the important roles both play in establishing an athlete’s foundation. The course will culminate with a lively discussion about five facts that distinguish between an athlete and a champion.
The material will be presented by a panel of three highly reputable guest speakers Mr. Ross Davenport, Mr. Jay Benner and Mr. Mohamed El-Zanaty. All of whom possess a myriad of aquatic wealth and stories between them. All three will draw upon not only their professional expertise; but on their individual experiences as competitive athletes, coaches and Olympians. This is certainly an opportunity not to be missed.

USRPT and Open Water Clinic held in Dubai on May 15th and 16th 2016 was very successful!

Thank you to all participants that have shown great interest and interaction during the clinic! It was amazing the high level of participation and the diversity of cultures all brought together by this swimming clinic.
Participants coaches came from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Netherlands, Hungary, Finland, Kuwait, Sudan England, Jordan and Sri Lanka!

USRPT AND OPEN WATER CLINIC
Dubai Sunday May 15th & Monday 16th, 2016

UAE Swimming Federation and the American University in the Emirates are organizing a clinic on USRPT Training (Ultra short race-pace training) and Open Water Swimming Techniques.
USRPT Training has been developed by Dr. Brent S. Rushall from San Diego State University.

Dates: May 15th & 16th 2016
Location: American University in the Emirates, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai, UAE

Fees: 500 AED for each attendant
