United Darjeeling FC Dubai hosted its first ever Football tournament “ Darjeeling Football Mela” on the 1st of September 2024 supported by “City Sports Champions Academy” and Trophy sponsors “Tam Palaz”!
This tournament was a first of its kind where 13 teams from Nepal of which 6 teams from India battled it out.
One day 7 aside tournament with round robin format we witnessed some great performances but more importantly all the teams participated and played in the spirit of the game.
Overall matches played were 36 games in the league stages and 7 games in the knockout stages of 15minutes straight each.
We the organizers would like you to thank all the participating teams and more importantly the referees.
The finals were played between United Stars Nepal Vs Dadabhai Travles FC India who emerged victorious!
