What an EPIC half-term Ocean Explorers Camp! 🌊🐠💙

This week, we celebrated 6 newly certified PADI Junior Open Water Divers and 3 PADI Dive Against Debris Divers! 🤿🎓

From mastering mask clearing and perfecting their buoyancy to collecting an incredible 1.5kg of ocean debris in just 30 minutes, our young ocean explorers have absolutely blown us away! 🐢🪸

But the biggest highlight? Watching their confidence grow with every dive. 💙

They faced challenges, overcame nerves, supported their buddies and discovered just how incredible our underwater world really is.

There's something so special about watching the next generation fall in love with the ocean — and even more special knowing they're learning how to protect it. 🌍🩵

Here's to the next generation of ocean heroes! We couldn't be prouder of every single one of you. 🥹💙

A huge thank you to our wonderful Ocean Explorers families and the Chloe Blue team for making this week so memorable!

🐋 Brave Whales Really Are Fun! 🤿💙

Who says learning scuba diving safety can't be creative?

This week, our young divers came up with their very own way to remember the all-important buddy check — Brave Whales Really Are Fun! 🐳

Using their own version of BWRAF, the girls took turns demonstrating their buddy checks to the camera, building confidence, communication skills and teamwork along the way.

We love seeing our young divers take ownership of their learning, especially when they bring a little creativity into it! 🌊

Because confident divers start with good habits. 💙

Does your child love the ocean, but still need a little more confidence in the water?

Our Ocean Explorers Half-Term Camp is designed for children aged 6–9 who are ready to build snorkelling skills, learn about UAE marine life and become more confident little ocean explorers.

Across the week, they’ll learn mask, snorkel and fin skills, buddy safety, ocean awareness and marine-life discovery, finishing with a Fujairah dhow adventure.

It’s a small-group camp, so children get plenty of support and encouragement in a calm, friendly environment.

13–17 October
Tue–Fri: 9am–1pm | Al Quoz
Saturday: Fujairah dhow day
AED 1,450 | All equipment included
6 small-group spots available

Message us to reserve a place or ask any questions.

We’re so excited to be hosting our very first Marine Biology Lab ECA! 🐠🔬🌊

We’ve got 8 young divers joining us for this pilot 10-week programme — all of whom already hold their PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification and are now ready to go deeper into understanding the marine life and ecosystems they’ve experienced first-hand underwater.

It’s been incredible watching their curiosity grow — asking questions, making connections and taking their ocean knowledge to the next level.

This is exactly what we want the Chloe Blue journey to be about: not just learning how to explore the ocean, but learning to understand it and, ultimately, protect it. 💙

A huge shout-out to Ishani Pilankar Cooney for leading these sessions and bringing so much marine science knowledge and enthusiasm to the group.

We can’t wait to see how this programme develops! 🌊

2 hours. One unforgettable birthday. Here's exactly what happens underwater at a Chloe Blue party 🎉🐠

Book yours → link in bio

From splashing in for the briefing, to their first real underwater adventure, to cake and celebrations after — every Chloe Blue party is built to be the birthday they talk about for years, not just the day.

Our children deserve an ocean that is still wild, alive and full of wonder. 🌊🐟

Not just photographs of what used to be there.
Not just stories about what we once saw.
Not just memories passed down from one generation to the next.

They deserve to experience it for themselves.

To swim above a reef.
To watch a school of fish move as one.
To feel that moment of complete awe when you realise just how much life exists beneath the surface.

Because when children experience the ocean, they connect with it.

And when they connect with it, they’re far more likely to want to protect it. 💙

That’s the future we’re working towards at Chloe Blue.

A generation that doesn’t just learn about the ocean.

A generation that loves it enough to fight for it.

Every ocean journey starts somewhere. 🌊

The Chloe Blue Ocean Pathway gives children a clear route to grow — from their first snorkelling experience to scuba qualifications, marine conservation, leadership and, one day, professional diving.

This term, there are four ways to begin or continue their pathway:

🤿 Mondays — Arbor School
PADI Junior Open Water ECA for Arbor students

🤿 Wednesdays — JESS
PADI Junior Open Water ECA for JESS students

🐠 Fridays — Chloe Blue Ocean Club
Snorkelling, water confidence, PADI Seal Team and ocean skills in Al Quoz

🔬 Saturday mornings — Marine Biology Lab
Hands-on marine science, experiments and conservation projects

Each programme develops practical skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of the ocean. Children can progress through:

Explore → Snorkel → Scuba → Study → Conserve → Lead

The Arbor and JESS programmes are exclusive to students at those schools. Our Friday Ocean Club and Saturday Marine Biology Lab are open to families across Dubai.

Not sure where your child should begin? Comment PATHWAY or send us their age and school, and we’ll recommend the right next step. 💙

Some very special UAE ocean news this week!

🐢 Abu Dhabi has recorded its first-ever Olive Ridley sea turtle nest on Saadiyat Island.

The turtle laid 109 eggs, and 40 hatchlings successfully reached the sea. Scientists then used DNA testing to confirm the species — a 99% match.

Such an amazing reminder of the marine life we have right here in the UAE 💙

Also in this week's positive ocean news:

🌱 UAE mangrove restoration passes the halfway mark towards 100 million mangroves
🪸 More long-term support is being developed for Red Sea coral reefs
🦈 Fishing communities in Colombia are changing practices to protect sharks
🌊 New marine reserves in New Zealand are being co-managed with Māori communities

We’ve put the full roundup on the Chloe Blue blog.

Which story is your favourite this week? 🐢🌊

POV: you have a zero décor budget… but a lot of cardboard, toilet roll and an unhealthy obsession with the ocean 🐢😂

We’ve been slowly turning our Dive Tribe space into something that feels a little more Chloe Blue — making sea turtles, shells, sharks and whatever else we can create from things we already have lying around.

It’s definitely not perfect. But that’s kind of the point. 💙

Reuse what we can. Get creative. Make the ocean part of the space.

And while we were making these, we started thinking… would anyone actually want to come and do this with us?

🌊 Ocean arts & crafts mornings
🐢 Recycled-material sea creatures
🦈 Ocean learning + making
♻️ A little conservation woven in too

Kids? Parents and kids together? Maybe even an adults-with-coffee version 😂
