Meet Ms Vicky, Founder of Dream It Possible and the heart behind everything we do.
Originally from Devon in the UK, Vicky grew up dancing at her local dance school, , where her love of dance and performing began at the age of 6. She moved to Dubai in 2010 - and more than 16 years later, the UAE is very much home 💗
Over the years, Vicky has been lucky enough to have some incredible experiences within the entertainment industry, including dancing at concerts for artists such as Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Faithless and Gorillaz, performing at the F1, and directing a six-week production for Expo 2020 Dubai - alongside many other shows, events and productions across the UAE.
Today, her biggest passion is creating those same unforgettable opportunities for the next generation.
Vicky is a qualified and experienced teacher across numerous genres, with qualifications including:
✨ Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)
✨ IDTA
✨ Acrobatic Arts
✨ Bounce DanceFit
But has always been about so much more than dance.
Vicky founded DIP with one simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to take part, belong, perform and shine.
She is incredibly passionate about inclusion and proud of DIP's work with Special Olympics UAE, creating training, performance and international opportunities for People of Determination and Unified dancers.
Through Dream It Possible, Vicky has also been fortunate to give students opportunities far beyond the studio - from examinations and local performances to competitions and experiences at Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Florida, Broadway New York and more.
Whether she's teaching a little one's very first ballet class, preparing students for exams and competitions, choreographing a performance or planning the next international adventure, her favourite part is watching students grow in confidence, achieve something they never thought they could, and feel like they truly belong.
Dream big. Work hard. Include everyone. And always believe that anything is possible.
Say hello to Ms Vicky!
