Please be careful and do your due diligence before accepting events from any organizer. Make sure you check the organizer’s background, previous events, and payment history.

**Please do not confirm or participate in an event without securing an advance payment or deposit.** An organizer should have sufficient funds and a clear budget to produce the event—not depend entirely on ticket sales to pay instructors and suppliers.

This is not about nationality or targeting Filipino organizers. This applies to **any organizer**, regardless of background. We all work hard, and our time, talent, and professionalism deserve to be respected.

Let’s protect ourselves, our community, and our fellow instructors. **Always verify first, secure your payment terms, and get everything in writing before committing.**

**Self-awareness is one of the most important qualities of a Zumba instructor.**

Receiving your training certificate is a great achievement—but it’s only the beginning of the journey. A certificate doesn’t automatically mean you’re ready to lead a class with confidence.

Teaching takes more than knowing the choreography. It requires consistent practice, musicality, body coordination, cueing, confidence, and the ability to connect with your participants.

If you know these are areas you still need to improve, that’s not a weakness—it’s self-awareness. The best instructors never stop learning, practicing, and growing.

Take your time. Keep training. Keep dancing. Progress comes from preparation, not rushing.

**A certificate opens the door. Practice and experience make you a great instructor.** 💚
