Another outstanding performance from Scorpios by Thambapanni Negombo as we secured a convincing 25-run victory over AKP Pearl XL in our 3rd league match of the tournament.

Batting first, Scorpios posted a competitive total of 160/9 in 20 overs. Valuable contributions from Sujath Wijesekara with a brilliant 36 off 24 balls, including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes, and Jude Perera with a solid 35 off 26 balls helped build a strong platform for the team.

In response, AKP Pearl XL fought hard but were restricted to 135/9 in their 20 overs thanks to a disciplined bowling performance from our attack.
