🎶 Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare HareHare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare 🎶
Today is Janmashtami , the birthday of Krishna, one of the most beloved figures in the Bhakti tradition. 💖
The Hare Krishna mantra is one of the oldest and most powerful mantras of devotion.
Hare is an invocation of divine energy. Krishna means the one who attracts all ..the magnetic force of LOVE at the center of existence. Rama means the one in whom we delight, the source of all joy.
But beyond the Sanskrit words and meaning, beyond any name or tradition, this mantra is a call to that one Source from which we all came and to which we all shall return. You may know it as God, as Love, as the Universe, as the Divine, as Consciousness itself. The name matters less than the reaching.
This morning I let the mantra do what it always does.. dissolve the distance between me and that Source. Because the Source is within. Always 🙏
if this stirs something in you - come join me this Sunday . Our class will be centered around Love -what it means, what it feels like in the body, and how we can open ourselves more fully to it.
We will sing to love, with love. 🧡
All are welcome, no experience needed. Just bring your heart. Asana is all level class, too.
Sunday 9:30, Zoga DIC, Oracle building
Happy Janmashtami to all who celebrate 🌸
