In 2024, I had the honor of winning the historic Colombo International Chess Festival — one of the oldest international chess tournaments in Sri Lanka.

This victory was special to me because it was not achieved overnight. Behind this trophy are years of hard work, losses, sacrifices, pressure, discipline, and thousands of hours of training.

Over the recent years, I’ve been fortunate to win many major tournaments across Sri Lanka. But every achievement started from the same place:
