Thoracic extension is the most challenging movement for a lot of people because of multiple reasons:

1. Stiff Spine: The middle of your back (thoracic spine) is pretty stiff due to the rib cage, making it less flexible.
2. Poor Posture: Many people slouch while sitting for long periods, which can lock up that area and make it hard to extend.
3. Tight Muscles: If your chest or back muscles are tight, they can pull you forward and make it tricky to extend your back.
4. Joint Issues: Problems with the joints in your upper back can also limit your movement.
5. Body Awareness: Some folks just aren’t aware of how to control that part of their spine, which can add to the difficulty.
