It’s a proud moment when your kid makes good choices and knows why she’s eating what she’s eating 🫶🏼

Since she was so small you’d think she wouldn’t get it I’ve been teaching Prim what’s up with food and how and why it is so important.

She’s has been taught simple guidelines (which of course I have to remind her daily):

1. Identify your Protein, Carbs and Fats
2. Include variety in colour (AKA Vitamins)
3. Drink water throughout the day
4. Don’t waste food

It’s nice when you realize it’s sinking in and her life will be all the easier for it.

Now I just need to get her homeschooling in order 😆

Fatigued? It’s not always your training or recovery that’s to blame.

Low iron is common in female athletes and many women are deficient without being anemic which means it often goes unnoticed.

When iron stores drop, oxygen delivery to muscles drops too which makes the same pace feel harder.
