Toss was lost and FireBats were asked to bowl first and we started with good discipline bowling by Karan and Saqlian they made sure not much boundaries were scored in the first 4 overs ,then Prajesh came in the first over and batsman trying to accelerate made a mistake finally and there was a skier tough catch which was taken by Prajesh himself on his own bowling and the first breakthrough was achieved by the team. In his next over Prajesh got another one where the batsman got hold out at long off then there was a small partnership for the second wicket but Usman took a crucial wicket of their opener who was playing well and scored a 50 but his innings was ended ,their inform batsman was still there in the middle but our bowlers were bowling well and was not giving him much scoring opportunity and finally we breakthrough again and this again it was Prajesh where the batsman got hold on in the deep ,again in his last over Prajesh took a another wicket this time shattering the stumps of their hitter batsman and in the process picking up his fourth ,there was another chance created by him for picking his fifth but there was a dropped chance and hence Prajesh finished an excellent bowling spell with 4/30 and a crucial time to perform for the team, Nadeem was at his usual best bowling economically but has been unlucky in wicket but he can't be kept quiet for long .Over all a great bowling display by all the bowlers for restricting the opponent to 168/6.
Knockout stage trying to enter into final all the pressure on the batting unit now to chase this target and 168 in ground no 3 is very competitive target and that what it proved to be at the start we got to a terrible start loosing Karan in the first over itself who has been giving us great start in last few matches and then soon we were reduced to 33/4 in the six overs and we were on the backfoot now the time was to absorb the pressure and not to loose anymore wickets and that's what Adnan and Usman managed to do they stitch a small partnership of 40 runs but a crucial one in the context of the game to get the nerve down and then Adnan lost his wicket trying to accelerate but Usman was still fighting at one end taking singles , doubles another wicket was lost by us in form of Saleesh who hit a crispy six but then going for another one perished again we were on the backfoot our scorecard reading was 84/6 in the 12th over needing almost half the score in the next 8overs , we needed some extraordinary innings from someone to get us through and then our Superstar Hassan who had a quiet tournament rose to th occasion that's why we called you our X - Factor he came in and what a knock he played it was a short knock but in the context of the match a might one he hit 3 Superman sixes on ground no 3 which went too far to demolarise the opponent he scored 13 ball 32 which got us back into the match but then again he got out at the wrong time which again match was in balanced state anybody games and what a game we were witnessing worthy of a Qualifier of such a big event 34 more was required of last 3.4 overs and we were already 7 down ,Noman walked in and scored two crucial boundary one six and one 4 and in between Usman is still fighting and running hard between wickets and then Noman got out and we were left to 10 runs in last over and only two wickets left again balanced between both the team this is the time for someone to become or hero and do something and that what Nadeem had in mind he hit the first ball for a crispy 4 runs through covers and then again next ball ran a two runs so six came of the first two delivery ,the third ball of the over again went for another 2 last 3 balls two was required still anybody games as opponent needed only 2 wickets , a tie ,a win or a match lost anything was still possible but then there was another run taken scored tie still needed one run or there would have been a super over a good off Yorker ball was delivered but batsman just blocked it and ran for the single to clinch the match ,what a match was witnessed by many audience who was there to watch the match an excellent game was played by both the team and cricket is of small margin that's what was seen but the energy the team has shown and played a great game throughout the tournament and specially this match was exceptional and we all ran to hug eachother and the whole team environment was thrilled, this is why we love the game ,this is why we play the game to be part of such a match a memory to cherish for long ,a game to remember for long time .Thank you whole team for making this day memorable.
