This is about the Mother that k!lled her 3 children and herself in Yaounde last night because of her husband’s infidelity.
I don't think that woman acted out of her normal senses. That is depression. When someone reaches a point where they harm their own children and even take their own life, something deeper is wrong. No woman in her right state of mind would k!ll her three children, not one, not two, but three and then herself, simply because of her husband’s infidelity. That is four lives lost. It's beyond anger and more of severe emotional and psychological distress.
How I wish we're can be able to tell when someone is depressed and needs help.
I think mental health is one of the most neglected sectors in Cameroon , and even across Africa as a whole.
We really need to start taking psychological well-being seriously.
lastlly,betrayal in marriage is painful. It can break a person. But marriage is not a do-or-die affair.
When it becomes unbearable, it is better to walk away than to destroy innocent lives
