Want to hit a push draw?

Focus on these 3 checkpoints:

1️⃣ Clubhead behind the body
On the downswing, allow the club to shallow and stay behind your hands.

2️⃣ Trail elbow and wrist position
When the club is parallel to the ground, keep your trail elbow close to your side and maintain extension in the trail wrist.

3️⃣ Attack from the inside
Deliver the club from the inside of the target line and swing out towards your start line.

Get these positions right and a push draw becomes much easier to produce consistently.

If you flip the clubhead through impact, try this 3-step drill:

1️⃣ Smash bag drill
Feel the hands brace for impact while the clubhead slows and the hands continue moving forward.

2️⃣ Control the strike
Swing and stop before the bag. Decelerate the body and gain control of the club through impact. If you flip it, you’ll hit the bag.

3️⃣ Towel drill
Replace the bag with a towel and strike through it. Focus on maintaining pressure in the grip to stabilise the clubface.

Then repeat the same feeling with a golf ball in the way.

Train impact, not just swing mechanics.

Every pro has a fairway finder. Do you? ⛳️

When accuracy matters, I’m not trying to hit my longest drive.

Instead:
✅ Tee it down slightly
✅ Swing at 70% speed
✅ Rotate to a full finish

1️⃣ Teeing it lower helps lower the launch with slightly more spin loft = more control
2️⃣ Slowing down slightly improves strike quality and face control.
3️⃣ A full committed finish prevents the deceleration that often causes an open face or a last minute flip to save the shot.
