There was a lot of activity in school today, unsurprisingly. I feel very accomplished, too. I was able to answer every question in the Computer Viva!! :D
jk, the real reason was my team's performance. More like, the car's performance. First credit must go to the design engineer, naturally, George. He really busted his behind off to get this car done. Major headaches were had over the general lack of weight in the car, the axes were set wrong, etc., etc. But with the help of the manufacturing engineer, probably one of the only people in the team who fully understood these problems, Prathik Menon, they finally pulled through with aplomb. (btw, prathik's the manufacturing engineer, not the problems :P) I wonder if there is really a need to mention the hard work of our graphics designer, Abhinav Rajaseshan. The brilliantly designed posters and uniforms should speak for themselves. Don't they sort of give out an aura of awesomeness? no, i mean literally. (I'm talking about Aurasma, something that helped us incredibly in staying true to the environment and our budget.) Moreover, the intensity of the logo, and those animations! :3 (http://www.youtube.com/veloxityracing; yeah, shameless advertising xD) another thing that cannot go unmentioned is the Team App. To be able to not only design but also code something like that is just marvelous, and I'm just so proud of him. Oh, how fast they grow, these young grasshoppers (what an apt metaphor, their faces are equally beautiful :P). Now none of this wouldn't have been possible without the financial help that the manufacturing , Pitstop and uniforms require. Who took care of that? surprise, surprise; the marketing manager, Yash. That guy somehow manages to excel in sports, eat like a cow, get maniacal SAT scores, manage a social life and still top the section :') As usual, the team manager, Goutham, did nothing.
Kidding again :P his efforts made sure that the others' was not in vain. He pulled the team together when trouble brewed, and kept us going when the going seemed tough. All this culminated into the great performance today, and I hope that we make it into the Nationals, and get to represent IHS there. Next hurdle - the exams :/ (Photos coming up soon)
